Street Sighting ~ Mitsubishi Triton

I wouldn't normally bite on a four-wheel-drive but nostalgia and curiosity won.

You see when I was in high school my mate Tristan showed me the Instagram account for this car. Back then I was more into 4WD's simply because my mates were.

The basic run down of this car is actually quite simple, take an ML Triton - stick it on a Nissan GQ Patrol chassis and power it with a 5 litre V8 out of a SS VT Commodore.

It was originally built by Brett Holbourne who eventually sold it. The most impressive part about this car is really the fact it's fully engineered and approved by Transport SA.

To me this just seems crazy but I guess Brett was able to jump through hoops and defeat the bureaucracy. I wonder how often the new owner gets pulled over.


Maybe it would be fun to look down on everyone as I drive around listening to Future Times by Hit Man.

This will be long and lack any sort of direction, forgive me. This All Japan Day was far more relaxed for me, as I decided early on I wouldn't be making a video like last year: As a result I picked up fellow enthusiast/blog author Nick at about 10:30ish in the Vortex . Car Feature ~ Subaru Vortex

Subinats 24' was a wild ride. While strolling the show & shine, making sure to get enough footage, I finally got to meet Shane. Meeting another Vortex owner is a rare occurrence and Shane didn't disappoint. A super genuine dude, we talked wedge, getting the run down on his Wynn's Safari inspired Vortex .  I'll type up a page on that car soon, but during the tour, Shane told me he was not alone. There was another Vortex at Subinats.  At that very moment I noticed a red coupe. It was absolutely hauling ass around the elevated sections of Sydney Motorsport Park.
