Street Sighting ~ Nissan Exa

It's 1989, Port are smashing North, it's a boring game but the ad break gets your attention.

No doubt you fell victim to the Exa's marketing, you just need to get a game card and who knows the winning car could be yours. Of course you don't win. But you want the car, you fantasized about it and now the other ad's on the telly are keepin the dream alive.

It's a coupe, a targa, and a cabriolet all in one, now fast forward 35 years and you've got one. It's parked out on the street, and showing its age.

Sure it might have seen better days, but it's 35 year old paint. go easy on it.

Before this Exa another white one sat in it's place for a long time. It had a baking tray under it to catch what was leaking. About a year ago the red one took its place. I'm guessing the owner really does have a pension for the model.

Personally I commend the owner of this car. They clearly like them and fair enough. May Gary Numan's song Cars drown out any rattles, good luck and godspeed.
