I was taking a poo, and having a squiz at Facebook marketplace. A rare occurrence of successful multi-tasking that is both unhygienic and likely to cause some sort of cancer down the line. Interrupted, a mate texted me asking how my Saturday was shaping up. As I returned to Facebook, the homepage served up something attention grabbing. I was getting an idea of what my Sat might look like. So I picked up Sam, without really explaining what a Magna was, mostly because if he knew he wouldn't have come. And then using that train of thought, I forced Ziggy to come and ensure someone would counter my upbeat energy. All-in-all it was great fun and we had a killa time. Initially I could feel Sam's distress as we parked in a dirt carpark comprised of beat up Commodores , Magna's and 3eighties . I had to explain this was not the display. And so heading inside the former Tonsley assembly plant our excitement picked up massively. Now I'll do my standard little preface - there we...

Create a playlist of Australian songs, put it on the internet, and write about/depict ambiguous connections. Here goes. 1/10 B4 (The 3NDLES5 version) Opening with over five minutes of heavy hitting, B4 is an electronic piece by Effective Power that features words by 3NDLES5. B4 to me possesses the same psychological qualities as #3 by Aphex Twin . A paralytic lying on your floor repeat listening kind of outcome, while your thoughts do circles. The reworked 3NDLES5 version just adds story telling, energy and closure. 2/10 Yes I Need My Generator Okay so cheating a little with this one, a collaboration between Turnstile and Mall Grab . Not exactly 100% Aussie but like the Ford Falcon I'd make the case for it being true blue. Again on the longer side of time, an introspective listen perfect for a dance in the shower very late at night in complete darkness (with no regard for gas'n'water) . Mall Grab , despite the innocent name is a massive hitter not only for his work...

Street Sighting ~ Nissan 180SX

Alot changes, but nothing changes. A wknd back a mate from university was able to get me some work at her business. This wonderfully removed me from the  subjugation and frustration of watching Geelong eventually roll over and die in the AFL grand final. Sparred.  So after ten-thousand involuntary 'howdy, what can I get youse' instead of talking normally. Plus a red hot attempt at perfecting the workflow and creation of rainbow snow cones, until my break rolled around. I actually love the job. Sure I could have just sat in my car, downed some water and enjoyed my banana but as I looked out at the car park that aeroplane instinct of go-on, stretch your legz got the better of me. And so I went to look at some cars, almost like a gambling addict. Eventually my little stroll paid out with a 180SX , styled in what is now almost a conservative look for these. Not usually a fan of personalised plates, however, no complaints this time round. If I was a really across these I would I...
