Street Sighting ~ Nissan 180SX

Alot changes, but nothing changes. A wknd back a mate from university was able to get me some work at her business. This wonderfully removed me from the subjugation and frustration of watching Geelong eventually roll over and die in the AFL grand final. Sparred.

So after ten-thousand involuntary 'howdy, what can I get youse' instead of talking normally. Plus a red hot attempt at perfecting the workflow and creation of rainbow snow cones, until my break rolled around. I actually love the job.

Sure I could have just sat in my car, downed some water and enjoyed my banana but as I looked out at the car park that aeroplane instinct of go-on, stretch your legz got the better of me. And so I went to look at some cars, almost like a gambling addict.

Eventually my little stroll paid out with a 180SX, styled in what is now almost a conservative look for these.

Not usually a fan of personalised plates, however, no complaints this time round. If I was a really across these I would ID the front bar, but it looks so close to OEM. While I'm on the topic, I'll slip in the fact I weirdly like the US spec pignose bumper. Maybe years of seeing heinous Monaro&Commodore twin sniffers conditioned me to despise em, and like someone unvaccinated, the introduction of the subtle shark/pignose bar caught me off guard.

One of my favourite looking 1-eighties.

Less is more said no Commodore owner ever.

You'd be hard pressed to come at this colour combo. Rays F-Zeros are a quality choice wheel, but to be a touch suggestive they look cooler when the insides are paint matched red to the brake caliper.

A bit critical, but as more people transition from sliding these cars to just being tuff streeters, I feel the attention to detail becomes more important. Lotsa grey one80s on white wheels. Ten cents.

To each there own, but any 180SX is easy served with worse than mid rap tracks from 2018. Japan by Famous Dex.
