Street Sighting ~ Toyota Soarer
Seen when riding bike home from work.
Stock car, even has sheepskin seat covers. I'm guessing some older gent saw it in a importers yard and fell for the salesperson hard. Or maybe they read about the Soarer in some auto mag and decided they wanted one. Either way it looks to have been on SA roads for a bit.
Have to admit the rear end is certainly more athletic than the Supra. Not a lot of class in the license plate, but you do you Doc.
A fair few of these were brought in from Japan but seeing this one isn't navy, green or gold I reckon the owner may have had more of a hand in choosing it. All speculation of course.
Your eyes probably darted to the worn wheels, or heinous fitment but I somehow looked past both and noticed the tyre pressure sensor cap. It's for the person who likes information for the sake of knowing information. This is a yuppie thing to do. I had these on my daily driver until I sold it. I glanced at the readout less than ten times in the years I had it. This car lives up to potential stereotypes.
Regardless, I still like this car. I'm too stupid to own it, let alone work on it (assuming its the eight). If I was to drive it for 4-kilometres in peak hour traffic to work King Missle - Sensitive Artist would go down a treat.
Thanks for reading.
