Street Sighting ~ Honda NSX

I was ticking off weekend errands with my girlfriend which eventually led us to popping into an op-shop. As a 22-year old with a good rotation of clothes, op-shops don't usually have much to offer me. I did my stroll, and checked to see if there was any old electronics.

After spotting a Crystal Limited Xbox, my brain went into overdrive as I thought I had a potential flip on my hands. Once close enough I found it had been priced accordingly. Transparent technology was a real trend for a while, even Honda did a S2000 that was partially transparent.

I turned to see where my girlfriend was when I spotted out the window, far away in the corner of the car park a low black car.

The closer I got the more surprised I became. This was the fourth NSX I'd crossed paths with in Adelaide. A few months back I'd had the pleasure of chasing a red one down New Belair road, and being a short road I was having a blast keeping up with it in my MX5.

This NSX was very easy on the eyes. It had such an unobtainable presence to it. Parked in the dingy corner of the car park with buffed walls and the skips next to it, it was confusing me. Because at the same time it had clean black paint which as someone who owns a black car knows, is a real challenge. Unfortunately words do little to explain the feeling. A quick peak at the odometer and it had 1,179,945 kilometres on it. How could a car this nice have covered so much road?

Maybe that was a silly question. After all it is a Honda, and provided you change the oil regularly they're meant to go forever. I really do wonder if its had a respray?

Regardless the car was gorgeous and all original. In a truly broken reality where someone like me is driving around in a car like this, I'd like to think as I cruise highways Healer by Bushwacka! would be the song of choice.

**Editors note - I must have misread the odometer
